The establishment of a Mikvah in the community has resulted in an unparalleled awakening with several community members committing to regular immersion in the Mikvah and several others attending from other nearby towns. In a fascinating turn of events, a number of wondrous episodes occurred whereby people in the community merited miraculous Yeshuos following their commitment to this special Mitzvah.
The knock-on effect of this increase in Kedusha has already inspired numerous unaffiliated Yidden to improve their Shmiras Hamitzvos. Their newfound commitment to the Torah way of life has impacted the community across the board, most notably with increased enrollment in the Jewish Day School and the explosion of Torah classes taking place in the community.
Rabbi Levitansky recently reported that there are a lot more people coming to shul since the war began so even though many people have left Ukraine due to the war, they don’t actually feel the impact. In fact, the community actually multiplied in size due to the resettlement of many families from Mauripol, who have joined the community. There are rockets and drones coming over the border every day but it hasn’t caused damage or injury, Baruch Hashem, to anyone in the community.
