The Ukranian city of Pervomaisk currently has a flourishing community with 2,000 Yidden. Rabbi Levi Perlstein has been doing incredible work to raise the level of Yiddishkeit over the past 14 years. Today there is a daily Minyan, a Kollel for older men, a Mollel for younger men and a learning group for women.
The closest Mikvah currently involves a two-and-a-half hour trip each way, making access really difficult. Mikvah Tahara has invested immense effort in this project and construction of a new Mikvah continues in full force, despite the ongoing war in Ukraine. It has united and strengthened the community in a beautiful way and it is anticipated that once the Mikvah is complete, it will inspire 5-20 Tevilos each month.
